Its a substrate that ESU makes, its derived from the Kenaf plant (something like that). She still has astro-turf as a substrate or lining in her cage, but, Lizard Litter in her litter box, she doesnt eat it, its not wood or sand, its supposed to be easily passed if ingested, we've used it for 2 years with no problems. Everyone has thier own preference.
