Hello,, Im not sure if this post is about the Lizard Litter. But, I dont believe eveything that the product companies tell me. I dont use hot rocks either. This product has worked really well for me, like I said, we all have our preferences. I understand about impactions and such, I still prefer to use Lizard Litter in my litter box. Thank you, Yvette
