: HI, I was in the supermarket last night getting all sorts of yummy veggies for my iguana, and I saw an eggplant. Has anyone ever fed their iguana eggplant, and if I get some, would I have to peel it or take the seeds out?
I feed it to my iggs every few months. You don't need to peel or seed it. Chop it the same way you would zucchini
:It's so different from the normal things I give her (squashes, zuchini, radishes, broccoli, coliflower, etc. Basically anything that looks good at the store)
: Thanks
Broccoli and Cauliflower aren't really great food for igs. They contain chemicals that inhibit calcium absorbtion. Greens (collards, turnip, mustard, rapini(broccoli rabe), bok choy, endive, escarole, dandelion) are all good choices if you can find them in your area.
