If you don't use the room you mentioned that often, maybe you could rearrange some furniture and make some room for a bigger enclosure in there... As for free roaming in a cool room, if you keep the basking area up to temperature, chances are your ig will stay in his/her spot. you could also use a space heater, but with caution! I don't have any experience with free roaming YET, but plan on it when my iglet is big enough. Hope I helped a little : ) Sara
