: about salmonella ... don't let the word freak you out! your ig has had salmonella since the day it was hatched + will have it all of it's life ... if you take the right precautions, it is highly unlikely that *you* will ever catch it ... all that means is thoroughly washing your hands after handling your ig + it's dishes, etc ... cleaning the tub (really, once is plenty) ... not putting your ig's dishes in the kitchen sink, etc etc ... restricting your ig's roaming/exercise isn't necessary *unless* he's uncontrollably pooping ... which he's not ...

hi iz mom what you said made sense he went to the bathroom today in the tub of water though before i read this message. you were right it was formed then disinegrated. im probably over reacting !!!! i rememberd you said that corn made your iguanas poop funny. sometimes i give ivy that canned iguana wet food by zoomed mixed with vegtables or squash he likes it . it has corn in it also maybe its too rich fo him so i will try to not give it too him for awhile and feed him his collards and other greens. i will keep you posted . mike
