this place (+ MK's site) literally saved iZ when we got here 3+ yrs ago ... and has saved my sanity more times than i can count since then ... i rescued iZ from an insane (literally) woman when he was 2.5' long and weighed maybe 1/2 pound ... i knew absolutely *nothing* about igs, only that i had to get him away from a bad situation ... he's now 5'+ and weighed in last nite at 10.5 pounds!!! *big proud grins* ... everyone here gets credit for that, not just me!
there are *no* dumb questions!!! don't be afraid to ask anything! (the 1st time i saw hemipenes, i thought my 'girl ig' was suffering from a rectal prolapse!! it's funny *now*, but i was worried sick back then ...
iZ just got a baby brother, Kirby ... he's 6"svl, 21" stl ... the one thing i wish i'd done with iZ, is measure him more often cuz they grow soooooo fast ... so Kirby's gonna get measured every week for a while ... iZ only got measured every 6 months or so, but he was alot bigger when i met him ...
oh yeah ... and some of us ramble on endlessly about our "kids" ... *grin* ... this is a place to share any + everything about igs, not just to ask questions!
and ... poop *is* important! (we all like a good poop story too!) ... what comes out is just as important as what goes in and changes can be one of the first signs of problems ... so, you're not weird, just an observant ig-dad!
