I wish you were in my area! There are 3 pet shops here, and I'm disgusted by all of them. Unfortunately there isn't much I can do about it. The Humane society isn't jumping up and down to help... Sure, I go in and share my knowledge, but does it really help? The one where I bought Minga has to be the worst for reptiles. Minga was in a 15 gallon aquarium with about 6 other hatchlings. The aquarium was on the floor with that "reptile gravel" in it and a little light for basking. The bigger male they had was in a small enclosure with no branches, no substrate, only his poop to smear around on his HOT ROCK and in his food, which btw was dried up lettuce! Oh, but the puppies had a wonderful enclosure with fresh food, water, AND Bedding. But try to tell them that a lizard needs the same and better, and you may as well tell them Mars is colonized. Needless to say, I didn't get a caresheet when I bought Minga... Not a single word. I also bought crickets(for my anoles) at the same time I bought Minga, and the lady didn't say a thing about it! And one more thing... You shouldn't keep chinese water dragons with iguanas, should you? I didn't think so... Sara (stepping off her soap box)
