I hear ya' bud... So few pet stores here in Cleveland really know diddly squat about our cute but potentially large IG's... I just got a second one (yes, I'm definitely stopping there), about a year old & 30" long that was obviously being mis-handled. When I asked to see him/her, the way they ripped his claws off his log sent chills up my spine, thinking he was going to rip them all loose! I decided to save him from this appearantly potential abuse by taking him in, although this and the IG I already had don't seem to be getting along. They're in 2 diff. living environments, happier, and this new guy (Spike) is finally warming up a little, and slowing on the whipping routine.

Personally, I'd be following up by locating corp HQ, and informing them of this ocurrence, going well over this mgr's head and hopefully creating some sort of awareness chain wide (if at all possible), as to the need to properly educate these otherwise ig-norant baboons! Just some veggies for thought for ya'... May the IG be with you... hehe
