to keep the area clean and put triple antibiotic oinyment IN the open bite. YUK! We had to actually hold the bite open and put the cream inside.

It healed fine--though slowly.

Watch for any signs of infection--lethargy, loose bowels, loss of appetite, ets. Also, if you are able, separate her from the ig that bit her. The stress of the situation could prove to be a bit much considering the recent injury.
