What I've done, is wash and blot dry the leaves of the greens... Collard, mustard, and turnip, dandelion, etc...and then chop what will be needed for a few days and put them into and air tight container in the fridge. Wipe away any condensation that forms on the lid the next day, that helps. I grate and or chop the green beans, carrots, squash, zucchini, fruit, or whatever that I'm including in the salad that morning. Glad sells disposable tupperware type containers that you can use to store grated carrots, squash, etc seperate as well. Now, I'm a housewife, so I DO have a little extra time for these things. I put the whole leaves washed, and bloted dry into plastic baggies with as much air squeezed out as possible in the fridge for the next batch. You can get alfafa tablets at a health food store to grind into powder to put on the salad as well... Hope this helps you a little. I'm a new ig momma too : ) Best wishes to you and yours!
