Although so many people have such a strong focus on what they call sterility....you never reach anything being worth to called sterile or semisterile in the pet area.

In general there is no need to disinfect a branch. Most reptile parasites are extremely host specific. If you insist, you may wash the branch. But thats really sufficient. Germs are ubiquiteous and disinfecting a branch will hardly reduce the number of germs your Iggei will daily encounter. I see more risk in remaining bleach than in any possible microbiotic contamionation of a branch. I´m not totally infamiliar with that stuff, since I once focused on microbiology for some years during my student time.
