: Hi everyone -
: I just got a new iguana today! She's a beautiful, three-month-old baby girl. My boyfriend told me that the females don't develop the spikes and outer frills that the males do. Is this true? Can I expect her to look similar to a male in this respect when she's full-grown?
: Curious, Lisa
hi the females have spikes to my friend has a adult female and she pretty nice size females tend to be better behaved than males. i have a male and hes 4ft 3years old i love him but males get nasty at times also crazy at breeding time hard to handle and chase you around . if youre boyfriend wants a male igana tell him go buy one!!!!!! if you like youre iguana dont listen to anybody give her all the love you can and enjoy her for her!! you wont be dissapointed with her trust me youre better with the female males tend to get nasty toward their female owners no matter how trained they are during breeding season dont listen to youre boyfriend good luck mike. youre boyfriend is gonna be mad at me but i dont care!!!
