This question comes up a lot, and i know I've said it beforebut i'll say it again. Iguanas always have been and always will be WILD animals, they can never really be tamed, in the sense of being able to conrol it and command it. You have to let the iguana get used to you. Don't grap it and make it be near you or be petted by you, let it learn that you are it's friend. Once the ig sees this, and trusts you to not eat it, it will allow itself to be petted and allow itself to sit on you and be in your company. It has to be a mutual thing, other wise the iguana can get very stressed. I know there will be people who laugh or disagree, but please take this into consideration anyway.
