Matt, you'll find with igs,,they really do like a regiment to go by.Same time,same station for everything.I've found when I work in the winter,our girl Cirsis's routine is different and she poops wherever she wants and when I don't work full time,,she's good about pooping in the tub.
Even moving a perch or a limb or hidebox in their cages can upset them.
It's best to keep your ig on a daily routine for both of your sanity.
