Orange Season????

I hear a few people on this forum talking about orange season
with their male iguanas...what exactly is that? Does the iguana
ACTUALLY turn orange? Or does it refer to their 'attitude' that
they develop during their mating season? I am completely confused
about it, and am very interested to learn about it...especially
since I have a male. When does this begin? (At about what age?)
I haven't seen any info on this on any of the websites that I have
checked out...maybe I am not looking at the right ones???? Any info
would be appreciated...thanks!
