: it's actually called mating season but we've started calling it orangeness (cuz we're all weird) ... so that's why you couldn't find it anywhere ... go back to your sources and look up mating season agression and you should find lots o' info!

: yes, they really do get more orange-colored during this time! it's to attract the girlie-igs ... some igs get really orange, others not so much ... the worst part is the hideous attitude they get! they tend to get more aggressive + very anti-social ... any head-bobbing or posturing during this time should be taken as a serious request to be left alone!

: age varies from ig to ig, generally when they're about 1.5 - 2 yo would be my guess ...

: i'd rather deal with orangeness than egginess tho! *grin*
