During one ofmy holding sessions (the one where I got torn up most, actually), after he settled down, I started rubbing the top of his noggin (gently). He acted almost like a cat, and arched his head back into it while closing his eyes. I stroked his neck, too. After a few minutes he seemed to come to and his eyes snapped open. While rubbing his head, he is not aggressive or defensive. I'd pet him elsewhere, but I don't know where he'd like and I don't want to hurt or make him uncomfortable...
