How noticeable is baby ig growth?

I purchased a baby Iguana (about maybe 4" SVL) back in early June. Little Beastie eats Iguana Den food and cleans his/her plate pretty much every day. My question is this: If Igs grow so quickly (i.e. from a 10" long baby to a 24" long subadult in a year), how quickly should one notice this growth, or since I see Beastie every day am I just not comprehending growth thus far? (This seems more of a stupid question now that I think about it - after all it's only been about 2 1/2 months!)
