well I know that it is early, but you could try to potty train your IG. That way you shouldn't have problems with your chair. It takes some time and patience to accomplish. I had my IG potty trained until I had to move. Now I have to start over. I haven't had problems with stains (yet), I use a car carpet cleaner to clean up the messes that baby leaves behind. I think that the cleaner is called DryClean. I bought it at Meijers, it is a red/pink liquid stuff. It seems to work great in cleaning up messes. Good luck with your new pet. I know that I enjoy mine to no end.
