Congratulations!!!! What was that mother thinking, just letting it die? I'm glad that you got the poor thing out of there!
Kitty litter is NOT a good idea! Just like babies will stick just about anything in their mouths, so will iguanas. It took me awhile to convince my ig that my jeans weren't edible. I really don't like most carpeting substrates mainly because when I used astro-turf I noticed a string wrapped around Dexter's toe. Newspaper is a rather handy substrate..all you have to do is throw it out when it gets dirty and more is delivered to your doorstep the next day. Need I go on?
