We use cages outdoors for all of ours. Its safer. You can use a smaller cage than you would for indoors since your iguana is only going to be out for a short time. Or, you can build another elborate outdoor cage. The choice is yours. LOL I think Jen Swofford's site has some good examples of outdoor cages.
