I know igs shouldn't go near chlorinated water ... and that they like to swim/poop in water.... I would like to know if anyone knows of a filtration set-up that would effectively allow me to create a small "swim" area where the ig could also poop if need be, but the water would filter/purify to safe limits. I have been looking into alternate purification ideas such as a "leech" system (water filters through large amounts of sand) and also thought about using bromine rather than chlorine. Anybody have some advice? This idea is still in its infancy and I am willing to give it up if it is not viable but I think it would be nice (For the IG) and would be worth a little work.
