Hi Gilbert,
We build all of our Iguana cages out of melamine. The melamine comes in sheets just like chipboard or plywood. The sheets are sturdy enough to build the enclosure without allot of reinforcement. We then use sliding glass doors for the front. I really like the melamine it comes in white mostly and if your creative you can sponge paint the walls.
Top sheet has reccessed light fixtures put into them for the heatlamps also have uvb lights screwed into the top of cage. A shelf is put up under the heatlamps. logs and branches are angled through the cage for the Iguana to come down. You can also put in vents on the sides of the cage for airflow.
