I'm not really sure how old he is. Or even if it is a "He". We got him last August and at that time he was only 10 inches snout to tip of tail. Pretty small. I had help. My son (14) held him while I trimmed. I'll definitely have to try the filing next time. It seems much gentler. Thanks for the ideas! J
