some juvies requier the claws to be filed instead of cut/trimmed, due to the fact they're more delicate. when he gets bigger, and the claws stronger, you may start trimming.

: I finally got up the nerve to clip his nails. I was very surprised, considering how little I took off, that two of them bled a little. Could that be because it's his first time? His nails are not long at all, just getting sharp. He's still a tiny thing. I don't know who felt more tortured. I'm leaving him alone for the rest of the day. Hope he forgives me by tomorrow! J
