preparing food in advance ... hmmmm ... i think it's gonna vary greatly with the individual ig ... iZ would never touch anything that wasn't *Fresh*, ie, *not* previously frozen ... i used to mix up a huge batch of greens a week at a time and lately, he has decided that's not fresh enough for him ... *sigh* ... cleaning ... that depends on if the ig is potty trained to go poop somewhere *besides* the enclosure ... (that's easier than it sounds! igs don't like to poop where they sleep ... usually) ... if there's no poop germs runnin' around the enclosure, a thorough cleaning once a week is fine, just remove any uneaten food every day between cleanings so as to not attract any bugs (+ rotten collards *really* stink!)...

ummm ... you'll also discover that i ramble *alot*!!!
