The term "save one" from a pet store....is a leak statement...here's why: Since you will be helping the "supply and demand" of imported iglets by buying from a pet store...which would be sending a signal to store owners to continue to stock iglets for sale. Instead, I would suggest looking into getting a rescue iguana from a rescue group. You can find very healthy iguanas in rescue group along with ones that need special care. And at the same time, you will not be helping commerical stores in the reptile pet trade < A big key to limiting imports> Also you will have a choice of either male or female with an adopted one vs a purchased iglet, which you won't know until it's around a year to year and half old before the sex is determined.
Many of the peeps here can help you locate a rescue group in your area that would be more then happy to hear from you.
Please above all, consider adopting over helping the pet trade business.
Best Wishes
