I bought a hibiscus and a few other plants on the edible non-poisonous list to make my Mocco's cage more "tropical".
Plus my darling Mocco is a VERY picky eater, refusing the greens and veggies I cut up (a-la MK Salad)
and will only eat his collards and greens if the whole leaves are suspended from the top of his cage.
I have to replace the Hibiscus once a month because he eats it down to stems and pistons(?).
He usually eats the flower buds before they get a chance to bloom, so I have only seen a flower once, for an hour.
But he has never had any bowel problems and is very green and healthy. He flattened the beautiful bushy plant and
sleeps in it everynight. Sigh... It doesnt look tropical, but Mocco's happy :)
