heat rocks can cause serious dorsal burns, up to 3rd degree, due to over-heating.
they do not heat the cage, only the animal sitting and "cooking" on top of it.
the UV is a good idea, as well as a ceramic heater at night (visit www.zoomed.com for proper lighting and heating products).

: hey my name is Danny and one of my friends has an iguana. It is around 2 foot or so. He has a light on top for heating. he says it gets warm but not that warm. Im wondering if he has to have a heat rock in it for the iguana also. Well if you know please tell me. Thxs in advance.
