Hi Tyler. First let me tell you that you have a real challenge ahead of you. Spinys usually don't tame down as well or as quickly as greens. Be prepared to spend lots of time with that new kid of yours. Secondly, your environment needs some work. Your Spiny should not be housed with your frogs, they require totally different habitats. A 55 gallon tank or, better yet, a 70 gallon breeder tank would do for a while. Spinys live on the edges of woodlands and around rock ruins. He would prefer a little less humid an environment than your frogs do. A sand or soil substrate will work, or carpet if you wish. Lots of branches to climb, some rocks and a hidey spot of some kind are appreciated. He should have a daytime basking spot that reaches 90-100 degrees with a cooler side of the tank or enclosure. Night temps can drop to about 65-70. I feed mine my standard green iguana diet daily with animal protein (crickets, superworms, pinks) added a few times a week. If you have any questions feel free to email me. I'd be glad to help. Oh yeah, I seldom see mine drink water but always have it available. Tap water that you let sit out overnight should be safe.
