as far as handling her or not ... that's a judgement call *you* have to make ... now's a good time to get good at reading her/his body language + deciphering what s/he's telling you ...
if you're "just" getting bobbed at, i'd still try handling your ig ~ tho be extra careful + don't make any sudden movements to startle her!!!

iZ usually makes it *Very* clear when he does *not* wanna be handled ... he postures, extends his dewlap + leans towards me and then goes into an elaborate bob ... if he thinks maybe i still don't get it, he opens his mouth + hissssses at me ... ummm, that's when i quickly *back* out of his room!!!

it's tricky, but it is possible to learn ig-language + it's good to learn before they get full grown!
