Some great musings JBug,,,I'm not one for taking much of anything that might be healthy,ya know, eat drink and be happy has always been my motto,,but I do worry alot about the kids and what they eat.
Like you all said,,the Chinese have been using herbal remedies for thousands of yrs, long before medical science came around,,and they seem to be ahead of the game.I'm taking Chinese bitters for liver cleansing and another herb,chin-chien tsao for my gallstones.Hope they work,,save me from surgery hopefully.I'll keep you all informed. They also have me taking bitters plus curcuma for pain if I have an attack.
Now while I love garlic, put it in everything, they do tout it as a maricle herb,I do know if several peeps that eat it very regularly and it hasn't helped lower cholestral,we do notice less colds and if we get them, they don't last long.
My question is this too,,,,do you all think that even tho our kids are mostly farm breed,,do you think they still retain their natural instincts as to what plants are good and what plants are bad here?Isn't garlic close to onions, and aren't onions not a great thing for igs?
I'm with Glenda on when I'm thinkin,,,either cooking or tryinng to get some sleep.
Just my 2 cents
