Calcium carbonate as a phosphorus binder?
That's a new one on me. I've never heard/read
that calcium binds phosphorus.
Q was on NeoCal/Calciquid, but that was because
of bone density problems. His damaged kidneys
were inhibiting proper calcium absorption, so
we made sure he had plenty of calcium to work
with to counteract the problem.
Hope someone else has better info!
