off topic ~ regarding SPAM ...

does any one have a solution to all the junk e-mail??? i am so sick of getting this crap! most of them say you can have yourself removed from the mailing list, but if you try to, the e-mail is returned, user unknown ... there are days i get more junk mail than real mail and i'm just fuming!!!!
i'm ready to start writing to the companies these people supposedly represent, but i also really resent having to put that much friggin' effort into it ...
