yeah, iZ is crabby when he's shedding + itchy ... (nothin' like tihs tho! *whew*)

usually, when he's feeling really bad, he heads towards the coldest spot he can find + avoids *any* warmth ... this time he's definitely heat-seeking ...

the times i've seen him in *obvious* pain, like when he broke his tail and then right after surgery, he will literally *throw* himself around his room (or the enclosure when he was in the hospital) ... like he's frantic to "get away" from what's hurting him ...

this is *so* different from *anything* i've ever seen him do that i think it's for different reasons than in the past ... and i'm sure part of it could be that he's just fed up with feeling crappy for so long ... and i can't really blame him for that!

and actually, i walk *loudly* so i don't sneak up on him, but i make sure i have the big towel at all times!!! (*grin*)
