I've read lots of stories of iguanas who get testy
when they're not feeling great. The most benign
example might be iguanas who get nasty when they
shed. Is it possible that iZ isn't feeling well,
but is healthy enough to demonstrate his displeasure
and frustration through agression?
Of course, with all you've been through together,
you'd think you would have seen similar behavior
before if iZ is acting out due to discomfort.
Unless he's just reached the point where he's mad
as heck and just isn't going to take it any more.
I hope someone more medically-minded than I can
identify any possible chemical link.
In the meantime, walk softly and carry a big towel.
