I have an active UVHeat lamp and I love it - I don't put it directly on her shelf because it is very hot but just a little bit away from it and she is always under it - Iggie doesn't go out yet because I feel she is still too small but this takes care of the UV rays. Its worth the investment.I have it on from 6 in the am until 6 at night and then she sleeps with an emitter. She seems to be doing real well with this new UV heat light.
