I stumbled across this board looking for care tips and thought I'd would be a good idea to get some advice from those who already own iguanas.
I'd appreciate it of I could get some feedback on my cage, whether it's good enough, and how long it will last before its outgrown.
The cage is 3 1/2 feet tall, 2 feet deep and 5 feet wide.
There is a shelf that is 1 foot deep and runs along the back.
The cage is made of wood (waterproofed) and the front is covered by coated mesh.
The bottom is covered with indoor/outdoor carpeting.
On the floor there is a 'pool' thats 1'x1.5'x0.5'
There a 3 large pieces of driftwood leaning against the ledge so that the iguana can climb up. There are also many fake plants decorating the cage.
Does this sound like an ok cage?
I'd apreciate ANY tips or feedback.
Thanks
