once it's pretty well healed, the ig might appreciate some aloe rubbed on it daily ... (iZ does on his ... it's healed up but that particular area sheds almost constantly now as the scales try to re-form ... itchy!)

keep in mind ig's are slow-healers since they're cold-blooded ...

glad he found his way to you! sounds like he's a whopper!!!!
