putting one of your clean old t-shirts,rubbing it on you first,and put it in his hide box.And when you handle him,,,try not wearing perfumes or powder and the t-shirt you wear while handling him gently and speaking softly,try to wear it twice or maybe even three times without washing it.Lizards are very scent oriented and when they smell them on you,,it's familar to them and with your scented t-shirt in their hide box,,gets them use to you.It's worked for us with all kinds of lizards.Just remember,patience and moving slowly and gently at all times and try to pick him up from eye level or lower so he doesn't see you as a threat.Good luck and lots of patience to you.
