I have a new baby iguana, who was quite calm in the beginning. He seemed to have no issues with being handled at all, but today it is a different story...we are guessing he is about 4 months old, and since he has been in our care, his personality has altered. He is extremely feisty and hyper. When we attempt to pick him up, reach into the cage to change water and food, etc., he scrambles away and immediately whips his tail. We've remained calm around him, no loud noises or fast movements, but nothing seems to be working. Needless to say, we (I) would appreciate some advice on how to adapt to his needs, as well as help him become comfortable with us, enough to be able to stroke his head a little would be great! Anything would be appreciated!!
