My Q regenerated his tail, much to the surprise
of his vet. Having to amp his tail eight inches
from his body, the tail end had to be stitched and
glued closed. My vet said there would be no
regrowth. But Q averaged about an inch of regrowth
a month for the rest of his life (about a year).
His regrowth was black.
I think the vets err on the side of caution,
telling us not to expect anything so we can only
be pleased if we get more than expected.
