Every case is different....Feo's amputated tail from a year ago is NOT black either. Its a nice brown like the rest of his tail tip. Info varies from vet to vet...website to website....person to person....ig tail to ig tale! Glad Ls tail is comin in nice! Maders has a pic of an regenerated ig tail & its as black as they come! Very noticeable! Ls tail *will* be cartiligious material not bone agree there.
