Gee...Katherine good question!....I think its just the shimmery look the water would give him but I wouldn't rule out color changes with rage too.....igs will change colors when stressed too but the orange breeding season colors ...never really noticed personally a more pronounced change in orange when either my iguanas have been irritated ..good question! I'll keep my eyes peeled for any info on it...and let ya know what I find out. Im sure others may lend us a hand...
