I can certainly understand your desire to respect your friends wishes, but I would be very cautious about keeping a ferret and Iguana in the same household. I had a ferret for a while a few years back. It would sneak up on our poor cat and nip him just to get a reaction. They are so full of mischief and seem to have no fear, I doubt even a full grown iguana could hold one off indefinitely. Its just in a ferrets nature to be nippy and I know that with the one I had , the decision had to be made to let it go to another home rather than risk an all out battle between it and the cat. Just so you are aware....Good luck with your decision.
