Brooke sounds like his diet is great...depending on how old they are and their diet! If Charlie is younger will shed frequently...no set in stone time between sheds...my igs are about 6 y/o shed completely about once a year now...but do have partial sheds of head spikes dewlap about 3 or 4 times a year. Slows down quite a bit as they age!
About the jumping...sounds like a startle jerk or myoclonic jerk...a sudden abrupt twitch that sometimes just about knocks em off their branch! If frequently occuring can be any of several other types of jerking (eg. tonic, clonic, atonic, bilat. myoclonic)...classic to metabolic disorders, defiencies, neuro problems like exposure to toxic fumes....but will manifest itself with more frequent twitching, jerking of legs tail,head...but this one doesn't sound like anything to worry about to me! Relax...ig Mom!!
