Well my new puppy is very enthustiastic (sp?) about greeting my ig every morning when I put her outside. I make sure she is high up on my shoulder and I hold her tail well out of the way of those sharp puppy teeth. My pup has finally learned not to follow me in the cage. The iguana tolarates him as long as she is looking down at him and he isn't touching her. My older dog gets along fine with her because she doesn't bug the ig. He might be fine if when they meet he knows he can get away or hide. Your best bet may be to avoid a meeting between the ferret and the iguana. Ferrets may like to chew and an iguana may make a good chew toy for him. Not good. Hope my ramblings at 10:00pm helps. LOL. Anyway I guess I'm saying it seems they can tolarated it for 4min. every day if they don't feel threatened.
