I either take Junior out by carrying him - then we sit on the chaise lounge and sun a bit, or I put him in a cage outdoors for a little bit. I don't want to break off any spikes, and there is no leash that can contain a determined iguana.

A friend of mine takes her ig outside for a walk-and-poop by wheelbarrowing him by his tail. Don't worry, he's a huge adult ig and she just sort of walks him with his tail like a leash. He's totally use to it. Obviously, she doesn't walk him around the neighborhood!

: I want to take Lizzy outside more since the weather is warming up. I tried one of those harness kind a while back and she went nuts. Today I tried a very thin, small dog leash that just has the ring at the end. She's over 4 ft. long now. I pulled the leash through the ring and slipped it over her head. She was OK with it and it wasn't tight, until she decided to climb into the shrubbery. I wouldn't let her, so she did her crocodile rolls. I was afraid she would get loose so I picked her up. (I now have the battle scars I guess she thought I deserved!) What is the best way to take her outside?
