If you could get, say, turnip, mustard and collard or dandelion greens and mix them up, it would give him more of a variety.
As to the 'fasting'.....if you will be faithful to keep feeding him the right foods, he will figure out that's all he's getting. Bad Boy did that for the longest time; then, one day he started eating like a little pig. They go in spurts, but it is scary when they don't eat.
Have you considered using Melissa Kaplan's salad mix or the Iguana Den diet?
