Re Oral baytril

Hello iZ's mom and iZ! Gonna ramble a bit but I think you can figure me out by now *grin*

The first time we had to use Baytril it was in oral form. I remember that it was RED and until I hit on the bread thing I had a he** of a time getting L to take it.

The second time we had to use it was when she had her tail problem. That time it was oral form but it was WHITE. Asked the vet about it and he told me that they have it specially formulated now for oral form to make it more palatable. 'Lo and behold she didn't balk about the white Baytril.

So.....you might ask your vet if he does this, too. Don't know if the white truly tastes *better* than the red OR if it is just because you can hide it in white bread SO much easier than if it were red *grin* And NO I didn't taste it myself to find out ;o)
